Trauma Services

Behavioral Health Resources has added the Trauma Clinic to their array of mental health services provided.

The Trauma Clinic was developed for patients who are struggling as a result of a traumatic event (e.g., witnessing or experiencing interpersonal violence or a motor vehicle accident, which may have resulted in a physical injury) as an example.

There are currently two treatment modalities available: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) on an individual basis with Tony Palomba, LMSW, and Seeking Safety in a Group format specifically focused on trauma and substance use is facilitated by Maryann Rigoni, MA LLP. Research has consistently demonstrated the high efficacy of all these modalities.

During the patients first visit they will be given a comprehensive assessment that will help us determine their individual specialty needs. The various treatment options will be discussed with the patient to determine the best match for them. We are pleased to offer these treatment choices.

If you believe you would benefit from these services, please generate a referral. You are welcome to call us with a specific referral. You may do so by calling our intake line at (269) 979-8333, at which time you can inform the intake personnel that you would like to learn more about these programs and be assessed.

Behavioral Health Resources participates with most insurance including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid and Medicare. A sliding fee payment plan is available to qualified individuals based upon their annual income.
